What’s similar about these two popular quotes?

1)Journey of a thousand miles begins with one step

2)How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time

They address patience and pacing. I think I’m way too impatient for my own good. I need to make a change I know, but in small “do-able” bites/steps. If I can do that I’ll be okay. This helps me alot to be gentle and patient with myself.

I asked my trainer to give me some exercises that I can do anywhere. He gave me some simple ones that I think you will enjoy

One is a squat and the other a lunge exercise. I do 10-15 reps for each exercise and if I get the time, I’ll repeat the set. For cardio, imaginary jump rope until I get tired.

How easy is that?

Changing your behavior voluntarily is almost like brainwashing yourself. The criminal justice system tries to change behavior through punishment but to change your ways voluntarily- it’s tough.

I’m determined to lose my weight but I keep falling down. I hate having to crawl back up to my feet and try to stand up. It’s the way. It’s my road to travel. I will make it.
